Details on the shipping and return of products purchased online.

Shipping

A flat fee of $20.00 applies to all goods shipped across Australia. 

Please Note: We do not ship outside of Australia.

All online purchases are shipped via standard shipping methods. The average delivery times to Australian destinations are as below:

  1. 3 Business days’ Australia-wide including most main country areas
  2. 3-5 Business days for WA, QLD, and the NT.

 

Returns

Sometimes products purchased may need to be returned due to faults or other reasons. Please read the following information below regarding our returns policy. 

Faults

When you purchase beyerdynamic products online, you have peace of mind knowing that your product is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. The manufacturer’s warranty is provided by Synchronised Technology Pty Ltd (ABN 60606692924), Unit 4, 16 Aquatic Drive, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086 Australia.

General terms and conditions

1.1 The benefits given to you in the beyerdynamic warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under a law in relation to the products to which beyerdynamic warranty relates.

1.2 beyerdynamic products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian and/or New Zealand Consumer Law.

1.3 Subject to the terms of this product warranty, beyerdynamic may agree to repair or replace at beyerdynamic cost, product(s) purchased by an end user in Australia or New Zealand from a beyerdynamic authorised dealer, only when, the product does not perform in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications during the warranty term specified on the product packaging or in the user manual.

1.4 In respect of a major failure of the product, amongst other remedies available to you, you may be entitled to either a replacement or refund. You may also be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable or merchantable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

1.5 If you wish to file a warranty claim, at the first instance, your dealer/retailer can process your warranty claim within the store, Alternatively contact Synchronised Technology Pty Ltd (ABN 60606692924), Unit 4, 16 Aquatic Drive, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086 Australia. To avoid any damage in transit, use of the original packaging is recommended. Proof of purchase from an authorised dealer is a requirement to claim warranty.

Change of mind

Although not obligated Syntec may upon request consider giving a refund of the purchased product, less a re-stocking fee, being 15% of the total value of the product, if contacted within 7 days of purchase. Note that the refunded amount will not extend to any freight charges incurred during the original purchase of the said good/s. In addition, any costs to ship the said good back to Syntec will be payable by the party requesting the refund.

*Note: Refunds on 'Change of Mind' purchases that have been installed and/or used and have visible markings on the product, have missing packaging and/or are not in a “as-sold” condition; will not be refundable.

How to return an item purchased online

Note: Items received without correct packaging or required information may delay the service process and may be subject to an investigation fee.

Packaging goods

  • Synchronised Technology (Syntec), is not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return of the item to Synchronised Technology (Syntec), or authorised service centre.
  • We suggest using Australia Post services and registering the item in case of loss or damaged during transit if shipment of the item is required.
  • All shipping costs associated with returning the item to Synchronised Technology (Syntec), or authorised service centres is at the end users expense.

Products returned must include the following information:

  • Contact Information
  • Return delivery address
  • Email address (important for communication)
  • Detailed fault description
  • Copy of Proof of Purchase (if claiming warranty)
